Qu'est-ce qu'un pantographe ?

Le pantographe est un instrument de mesures qui  permet de reporter à l'endroit exact sur le bloc de pierre  n'importe quel point préalablement choisi sur le modèle

3 plaques de fixation sont posées exactement aux mêmes endroits  sur le modèle et sur le bloc, préalablement scié aux dimensions les plus externes de la cariatide, une plaque au sommet et deux plaques à la base

Ces plaques comportent un trou et assurent une totale stabilité au pantographe

L'aiguille articulée et coulissante sert à enregistrer la profondeur du point à atteindre et à reporter sur le bloc

What a pantograph?

The pantograph is a measuring instrument which allows to transfer at the exact place on the stony block any point beforehand chosen on the model

3 metal plates of fixation are exactly put in the same places on the model and on the block, beforehand sawed in the most external dimensions of the caryatid, a plate in the summit and two plates on the base

These plates contain a hole and assure a total stability the pantograph

The articulated and sliding needle serves to record the depth of the point to be reached and to be postponed on the block

Was ist ein Pantograph

Der Pantograph ist ein Meßgerät, das erlaubt, im genauen Ort auf dem Steinblock irgendeinen Punkt im voraus zu übertragen, der nach dem Modell gewählt ist

3 Metallplatten von Festmachen sind in denselben Orten nach dem Modell und nach dem Block, der, im voraus, in den am meisten äußerlichen Dimensionen des Karyatids gesägt ist, eine Platte in der Spitze und zwei Platten auf der Basis, genau gestellt

Diese Platten fassen ein Loch um und versichern eine totale Stabilität dem Pantograph

Die schiebbare und artikulierte Nadel dient dazu, die Tiefe des Punktes für das Erreichen aufzunehmen und für das Übertragen auf dem Block
