Having measured the point on the model, the sculptor fixes the pantograph in 3 supports of anchoring of the stony block; he points the sliding needle in the place where it is necessary to dig.

By means of a pneumatic drill or in the hand, he carves the stone until the depth represented by a stop, marked by the ring of safety which comes to stumble over the back of the fixed support of the needle. In the deliberate depth, he marks with a red cross the place indicated by the point of the needle.

The sculptor replaces then the pantograph in 3 points of fixation of the model on which he marks in the red paint the last transfered point and takes the measure of a new point. Transfer on the block, and so on, as often as there is of points to be transfered.

Après avoir mesuré le point sur  le  modèle, le sculpteur fixe la pantographe dans les 3 supports d'ancrage du bloc de pierre; il pointe l'aiguille coulissante à l'endroit où il faut creuser.

A l'aide d'un marteau pneumatique ou à la main, il taille la pierre jusqu'à la profondeur représentée par un arrêt, marqué par la bague de sécurité qui vient buter contre l'arrière du support fixe de l'aiguille. A la profondeur voulue, il marque d'une croix rouge l'endroit désigné par la pointe de l'aiguille.

Le sculpteur replace ensuite le pantographe dans les 3 points de fixation du modèle sur lequel il marque à la peinture rouge le dernier point reporté et prend la mesure d'un nouveau point. Report sur le bloc et ainsi de suite, autant de fois qu'il y a de points à reporter.

Den Punkt nach dem Modell gemessen, legt der Bildhauer Pantograph in den 3 Verankerungsunterstützunge des Steinblockes fest; er weist die Schiebenadel im Ort hin, wo er graben muß.

Mit Hilfe von einem Preßlufthammer oder in der Hand sculptiert er den Stein bis zur  bis zur Tiefe, die durch die Nadel registriert wurde. In der gewünschten Tiefe kennzeichnet er mit einem roten Kreuz den bezeichneten Ort.

Der Bildhauer stellt dann den Stromabnehmer in den 3 Punkten von Festmachen des Modells zurück. Er markiert in der roten Malerei den letzten übertragenen Punkt und misst einen neuen Punkt ab. Verschiebung auf dem Block und so weiter so vieles Mal wie gibt es Punkte zu übertragen.
